1857 Flying Eagle cent weight?

I'm popping some stuff on ebay and checking out the flying cent i noticed the weight a bit different, redbook says it is 4.67 grams..my coin is 4.3,,..is this accurate..It does look more like a tranished nickel color than copper color like in the book and in google images. any ideas

How worn is the cent. 4.3 sounds about right for one with lots of were.

 

That's a lot of wear & corrosion like it was buried in the ground for some time. Therefore less than normal weight to be expected.
