Is the wing mark between F & A definite marker of Overdate? Will ANACS accept this or does it need to be submitted under error? I apolgize for the photos I need to set up a proper photography setup. PS; is there any point to certifying "rare"/uncommon holed/damaged coins such as 1800 10hc, 1805 25c, 1861s 25c? It's only $10 and the specific details grade may be easier for prospective sellers to come to conclusion on net grade pricing
Yes, this does look like the overdate. I think you already answered your own question about certifying damaged better date coins. Just look at the cost to certify versus the difference between how much you think you can get for the coin as-is, and what you hope to realize when it is certified.
It could be, but... I don't see the die chip. The broken wing is clear, but not definitive, I have seen two that were not the overdate
