1855 1 Cent

I'm new to coins and find it difficult to tell which grade it is.

Thoughts on this one?

Looks to be about a VF-30 coin. Still have plenty of hair detail and the tip of the coronet isn't all worn out. There's some verdigris on the reverse that needs some attention asap. There's nothing worse for a copper coin than corrosion.

 

Nice strike, just minor Verdigriss

 

I was going to say VF 20 but I think I grade harder on these since I collect them.

 

You can edit the title or any part of your post for 24 hrs, BUT if you use the "edit post" which comes up ( quick reply format) you can't change the title.
