Well, I went ahead and purchased this coin for $88.00(not including shipping) for my type set. Besides the toning streak on the obverse, it looks to be a nice well struck EF40-45 coin, and will go nicely with my EF-45 1853 half dollar. It looks really nice to me, I have one in my album on this site except mine is an 1875 and mine doesn't have the arrows and rays. I have a half dollar with the A&R, but I don't have a pic of that one yet. Seems like a very good price to me, as its in very good condition. enjoy
Thanks. The toning streak is a little bit of a detrament, but I really like the look of the fields. These are so commonly hairlined to death.
Looks like a nice xf to me, well struck. I imagine the obv streaking is less noticeable in person than in the photos.
