There are so many coin shops in Greensboro! I am so used to having none within a 30-minute drive. I don't know if I posted this or not, but I recently moved to Greensboro, NC for a Co-Op with HondaJet. So far I am enjoying everything (though my apartment leaves a little to be desired...). Anyhoo, I just got back from visiting my second coin shop in just as many weeks, both 10min from where I live (and there are still two others to check out!). Here is my purchase. It was one of two things that was not overpriced in this shop (the other being an EF-45+ 1850 dime). A definite upgrade to the Cleaned VG I had. I grade her at VF-35. The price I paid is on the 2x2. How did I do?
A lovely original coin, perhaps a very old cleaning which has since become quite market acceptable. I think you're into it for something less than half of fair retail.
Nice looking example. Love those O-mints. Someone might have removed some gunk from the right obv field but I'm not seeing hairlines.
