1853 LARGE CENT, WHAT IS IT WORTH?

    This is first of all a braided hair large cent second of all i think your coin has been cleaned and the sides are pretty banged up. It is probably vg-12 and is worth with the cleaning 15-30$. In my opinion i wouldn't get it graded. Happy coin hunting :)

    I've seen large cents with similar problems sell for $5-10 on eBay.

    have to agree with about $10 for that as you can get some very nice LCs in the 50s in the 20 range
