So I think I did pretty good today...for $3 I picked up an 1852 3 cent, and a 1905 IHC. Judging by the values determined by the blue book, and the red book I think that I definitely made a good find. The trime was in the dealers "pocket piece" bin, and the IHC was just in his IHC bin. How would you grade them?

The three cent piece FR2-AG3 and the Indian VG-8?

If someone kept the 3 cent as a pocket piece, I don't know how they kept it....it's so tiny if I put it in my pocket, I wouldn't ever see it again...

I think they grade higher than that. The 3 cent silver is solid AG-3, and the indian is F/VF.

I'm definitely picking them up every time I see them in my price range.

I would grade the Silver as a low AG and the indian as a Fine. Nice pickups

Nice buys. Those 3 cent pieces are little beauties imo.

They are definitely one of my new favorites. The nickel ones are ok, but I like the silvers a lot. Its amazing how many people had no idea that we had them too.

Nice coins. Really like the 3 center -- you don't see them that well worn often.
