Looking for grade and an estimated price. I bought this in 1960 for a Type set. I collect Lincoln cent only. I have found alot of imformation belonging to this forum. I thank you all. I also have a Flying Eagle cent I will post also. Obverse http://img204.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cent001lb7.jpg Reverse http://img514.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cent002hx0.jpg
Another very nice one, too bad it has the rim ding. Depending on the grade, and I'm not real good with cents, I'd say between $100 and $250. Ther could be a big jump for better grade uncirculated coins. I'll let someone with better eyes than mine try and nail down a grade.
The coins has MS details based on the pics, but that obverse rim ding ( It almost looks like a test cut ) keeps the coin out of an NGC or PCGS slab. And that also reduces the value, I would say $80 - $100.
That coin, MS details at least 62/63 type, pleasing color, but the cut oh man the cut. My sources say for that 1851 ms around that condition $300. With the cut, half it so $150-$170 is my estimation, unless maybe you can get it in an anacs slab
Wow, just want to say, great looking coin! :thumb: Shame about tha cut though, but something I would still be proud to have in my collection. Nice coin. :thumb: Phoenix
