After seeing the other post on the large cent varieties I rememberd I had these 2 that I wasnt sure of. Possibly (1846 N#43, and 1846 N#25) Here are some pictures. If they are the varieties what would the value be? Here is the 1846 http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1846DT.jpg http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1846R.jpg http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1846f2.jpg And 1847 http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1847DT.jpg http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1847F.jpg http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/wamike75/1847R.jpg
On the 1846, if that is indeed a horizontal line through the middle of the 1 (I can't see it well in the photo), then it is a N-13.
Yes the 1 in 1846 has the horizontal line going through it. Any Idea on value for this one? What about the 1847? Anyone else? Im not to knowledgeable on the large cents yet.. Thanks in advance for any replies.
I have a 1847 large cent in very very fine condition it has a misprint on the back side of the rim it has about a 1/4 in.of extra copper on it could anyone please let me know what it might be worth or where I might take it to be appraised. Please call me at 938-840-8676 ask for Bob also have a newer quarter with no silver attached to the clad in the back center of the quarter Thank you for your help and support and time.
It could be a rim cud. There are at least five different varieties of 1847 that come with rim cuds. Can you post a good picture?
