1844/81 large cent

Just won it seller didn't know,cherry picked it from the auctions list for $20.Not sure what its specific attribution is but nice to have one anyway.

Were those reverse scratches from a rolling machine...

 

Dont think they had them 100+ years ago.

 

Looks like N-1 the bases of the "1" and "4" stick out to the left.

I bid on the 1844 coin but it got too pricey for me with the wear and damage to the reverse. 1847 is an N-1
