I am curious what the value of this 1843 British Gold Sovereign would be. I know the gold value is around $400, but I was wondering if there was a numismatic premium to it as well being in better condition. Thanks!

I do not think it would have that much of a premium over spot in that condition. My guess would be $50, maybe a $100 over spot and that is roughly comparing it to U.S. coins of the same era. Of course, if it is rare and highly sought after, then it would be a different story.
