I don't have a 19th century Krause book, but Rupees in that ballpark tend to sell in the $40 range on eBay. That one appears to be in excellent BU condition (which would easily push the price over $100), but I'm very surprised that it doesn't have any toning after 170 years. That makes me suspect that cleaning occurred at some point. Anyone have the general characteristics of the coin (weight / fineness) handy? Is 1840 a key date?
