This was in a sleeve with an 1858 Georgia $5 Mechanics bank note. I was excited at first, then after some research, the $3 note looks like either this is the actual serial #40, or a fake thrown in with it? I'll be getting them looked at by an expert soon, but thought I would share pictures before I get around to someone looking and feeling first hand. I'm hoping the Georgia is real though not worth much. Thanks!
Thanks for the verification. The Texas must have been used as a back for the frail Georgia. The other way around would have been nice.
