1840 Half Dime

I picked this 1840 half dime up this past weekend. I had never seen one before and wasn't sure what it was. I paid $5 for it.

What do you guys think? Did I get a good deal?

Nice coin. Not in good condition but is worth around 12-15 dollars.

 

Condition isn't the best, but $5 is a good price!
