1838 GTG & Variety ....what would you pay for it?

And 1838 Seated Half Dime type ll GTG and variety honest coin with orginial skin oh one other thing ... what would you pay for it?

I'm at 35. I lost track on the value of these.

 

I'm stuck between VF35 on the obverse and XF40 on the reverse. I think it landed XF40. As far as variety, I usually ask my buddy Paddy for help with that

Edit: if I were to buy it, I'd want it at around $100-150, because I'm cheap and want everything at a discount.

 

I would guess vf 30. don't know about price.

 

$40 in hand it is at least 5 points off on grade but closer to 40. Best yet another 1838 ddo repunched stars variety so far I have 3 of 8 & a rpd.

 

Well, I would say under graded and great pick up

 

A nice type coin...I guess these go for around $100 or more. Agree it's undergraded.

 

Depending on eye appeal I say plus or minus $20 off your $100. Guess. With $100 A very reasonable price for a mid grade originial skin 1838 coin.@ $40.plus the variety, rpd,and in plastic it was a win win ....no need for second thoughts.

 

Agreed. Wow ... imagine that a so-called lower tier TPG under grades a coin. I am at VF 35.
