I can't see any wear on the obverse..........and only a tiny bit on the reverse. Probably AU-58.

You forget to mention who graded it.

So, I'm going to guess either SGS PR70 or PCGS/NGC/ANACS/ICG in the high AU/low MS range. :goofer:

    Bud,
I'd pin that at an gorgeous ms-64+ I'd be thinking easy 5 without the spot on the reverse, and I certainly wouldn't say it would be incorectly graded at a 65.

WOW--what a coin! I would like to find one of these someday in about the same grade----I think it also grades around the MS64/5---IIRC this coin isn't known for a strong strike...but this one has a NICE strike!!!

I wouldn't be embarrassed. The coin does not bear any indication of being united states coinage, it was only minted for one year, and the guy who made it was foreign, and has an extremely foreign name. I suspect that if I were not aware of these, I too perhaps would have mistaken it as foreign.

I would say that NGC gave it an MS65 minimum, but I am going to go with MS66. Its hard to guess their exonumia grades, some are OK, but quite a few of them are so high I think they looked at some token other than the one that was in the slab.

Very Nce BTW!!! One of the nicest that I have seen!
