Not really an error, of course. But I thought it would be fun to post anyway. :)

Was this really changed from an 1884, or was it a counterfeit?

Well, I don't really know. It was like that when I got it. Can't really be counterfeit, can it, when no such thing is supposed to exit. Fake, perhaps? Anyway, I just thought it was a fun thing to own.

Well what I meant was, I have seen Chinese counterfeits with incorrect dates, incorrect reverses, trying to sell a coin as authentic when it is impossible.
Is this coin silver? What does it weigh?

If that's a real doctored Morgan, they did a great job.

Never thought to weigh it as I had assumed it was not worth much anyway. I guess I should.
