    Hello fellow coin lovers.

I found this. As far as I can tell, it's an N-2.

To all you experts here: am I correct?

Welcome to CT. The correct term would be a misaligned die, with off centered coins, both sides will be off centered. Sorry that I am no help with the variety, but somebody will surely give it the attribution soon. Very nice old copper though, I would grade it XF-45.

Thanks! Can you believe I dug this coin out of the ground?

Everyone keeps saying that but... it took almost 6 hours to remove a thick and hearty layer of encrustation. I honestly thought there was no hope for this coin!
