Found this on ebay and I really love the condition/ eye appeal of this coin. I'm showing you all the pics to avoid making another big mistake when buying a coin. I have bought from this seller before and he usually mentions when a coin is cleaned and this description has no mention of a cleaning. It looks like a solid VF-XF. I'd really like this one for a nice type coin. Grade and value greatly appreciated.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That is not XF. It is a VF, I would probably say VF-25. Looks like a nice Bust half.

I agree with the grade and feel that the little lady might of had a cleaning at some point in her life.....

green18 is probably right; almost all of these have been cleaned at some point.

It's not a bad coin. I think it shows VF30 detail. My concern is this : most bust 50c with that much wear have less detail on the clasp and front drapery; sometimes, the clasp is almost gone. Either this coin wore unevenly, had an unbalanced strike, or it's been tooled to restore detail. It's not uncommon to see enhanced busts.
