    Russian 5 kopeks were really great coins - large, heavy and just beautiful!

    Very nice

    I'm collecting WW1 era European silver coins, and am currently trying to fill in the Russian and German mintage. 5 kopeks are very nice looking, so far my favorite Russian is the 50 kopek... it has heft, design, and interesting features like markings on the rim. However, of all the WW1 Russian silver, this seems to be the hardest to come by... I've only managed to find 1 in my several months of rummaging eBay, Miller's Mint, etc.

    If we're thinking big, what about the Sestrorestsk rouble ? That weighs a kilo !
