    71.jpg 71a.jpg i don't own this coin. i was just curious to get some opinions on it. there is a scratch on the obverse. but other than that, do the surfaces on this coin look different than the average bust half?

    Xf details scratched surfaces look fine I've seen many bust halves with similar toning

    Pretty common toning for Capped Bust Halves. Looks around XF40-45. The scratch in the field doesn't look too bad.
