    It has been doctored IMO.

There should be a lot more luster there -- I think the coin has been dipped, stripped, and retoned. I'd be worried of hairlines too.

On the bright side, the return policy seems fair, so if you like it that much and find the price right, I see no reason why not to take a chance, but understand that the odds are that the coin is a problem coin...Mike

I like the coin. I'd never spend that much on an Ebay coin sight unseen.

I sent some coins in to NTC when they first started, just as a test. Everyone came back accurately graded, and conservatively graded.
That said, this one is an exception.
To make 63, the coin has to have luster and eye appeal.
This one has neither. It may be an unc, and nice surfaces, but the picture showes it as too dark for my grading it 63.
Sure, toning is okay, but this is strange.

I am leaning towards MS-60/61! There is some luster showing on the Reverse but none can been seen on the Obverse which I believe is due to the coin residing in a Coin Album for too many years.

I see the variation in tone on the reverse, but, if in an album, why tone on both sides?
Is this a sealed both sides album? Just kidding.
too dark and even, even if left there for years.
