Got to see one in person yesterday...boy was she pretty! :hammer: They wanted 300.00 for her...any idea if this is a fair price? They were grading her as XF+ and I would agree...

Would you jump at that chance? She was the best I have seen yet...just not sure about the price?

Take a microscope back with you and find a scratch, then offer them $225.00. :D

    LOL.

I saw an 1832 in AU shape on saturday - very nice coin. I had to choose between the 1806/9 I posted or the 1832. I know several around here would have picked the 1832 because the 1806/9 does have a scratch on the reverse. To me it was an easy choice especially considering the variety.

You had me going, then I finally figured out that it (the 1806/9, actually inverted 6) was a half dollar.

And, yes, I would have taken the 1/2 also.

Sorry about that - I keep forgeting sometimes I leave out pieces of my post, cause I just know everyone automatically knows what I am thinking. :) For all others the 1832 was a dime and the 1806 inverted 6 is a draped bust half.
