Nope. Look at N-7. The reverse is distinctive and diagnostic with the leaf at S far right of the right side. There is really no need to look further. R4- in Wright. Nice pick up.
Not much, this is a very common R-4. I've picked up half a dozen of them unattributed. I don't even save them anymore when I find them. In better condition they are tough but not in low grade. I'd call it more of a R-3-
thanks for the reply. myself and some of the others on here have tried to figure out what variety this 1800 large cent is. at first i thought it might be S-210 and now i think it might be S-197. any opinions about what variety this coin is?
