1822 Half Dollar grade and value

    I folks, I think this has a high degree of detail despite an old cleaning. But that is nearly unavoidable on these older pieces, right? I like the toning, too. :) Just wondering what you all think, and would consider it is worth if you were looking to add it to your own collection. Thanks everyone! :) 010.JPG 011.JPG

    It's my first silver of this type and I paid a pretty penny for it. It would just be nice to see whether or not I got burned.

    Any guesses at the variety/Overton# ?? I have no references...

    F-12 books 89, and VF- 20 at 101. Your coin would fall between. Sorry I can not help you with Overton. I sold my book along with my bust half collection, many years ago. I regret that now. Live and learn. I hope you got a reasonable deal. Dave
