1819 George III Crown Die Question

    Bone,that is a very worn coin of the last coinage Crown (5 Shillings) of King George III.I have got an 1820 with 2 mount marks on the obverse in my collection as a spacefiller.

    Nevertheless it's the (MS70 top pop 1819) in my collection, LOL. After further research it appears to be a pattern anomaly from 1819-1820.

    Holy Smoke, it appears to be the only coin with a "POP-OUT" sloted area for chain/necklace wear. That large O appears to be a punch spot on BU/AU examples!!!

    Yeah - but it's still sloppy. They didn't get the dang spot centered at 6 o'clock - makes the coin hang crooked on a necklace :rolleyes:
