1817 CBH Grade Guess

    Here is what has to be the UGLIEST 1817 O-111 (really low star 7) Bust Half in the WHOLE world. It has been graded though by IGS. What would you say this ugly half dollar grades at? :D

    I would say VG8. Hair and the eagles wings are worn pretty good and it looks like the rim is starting to flatten out. You're right though, it is a pretty ugly coin.

    lol i dont think its ugly i actully kinda like it vg8 is the grade i think

    I'd say somewhere between VF-20 and EF-40. IMHO, any ugly coin is better than a cleaned coin.

    VF 20, a bit mottled, but not bad.
