Here is a pretty good ANACS graded 1817 Capped Bust Half with really "struck-up" stars and a complete E Pluribus Unum which lead me to think... No matter, what is your take?

EF-40 because the hair is worn. B12

I'd even say VF-30 because of the lack of detail on the shoulder clasp in addition to the worn hair.

    Wow, Bone...nice coin!

I'm new to all of this, but I'll give it a shot.

The Reverse just looks great...almost AU. However, the obverse looks a lot more worn.

I'll have to go with VF 35.

That's a great looking coin, though. I wouldn't mind having it in my collection. ;)

It kind of looks cleaned in the photos.

    I'd say EF-45.

VF30 Cleaned...if this had a NET grade it would be F15 IMO
The front looks cleaned...the back doesn't as much as the front IMO

VF20 although I've seen similar examples go 10pts higher. I'm not complaining though ;) as I paid F15 money for it :)

Wow! I wouldn't have thought that low. ANACS seems to grade pretty tough sometimes.
