Need help with value on this coin. I traded another Mexican coin of questionable authenticity for this one.
Dont worry, I didn't deceive anyone. The guy I got it from let me pick a different coin when I expressed my concern. The other coin is pictured in the world coin forum, entitled 1812 Mexican sud. This one I think is much nicer but my only price guide is a 1995 Krause world book. Anyone have something a little more recent. Thanks Coswho.

    Hi Coswho,

In my Krause 19th century (3rd edition) from 2001, your coin (2 tlaco 1815 KM#64) gets a catalog value of:
    VG:12.00 / F:25.00/ VF:50.00 /XF : 150.00 US$
    A 1815/4 specimen is quoted a bit higher: VG:15.00/ F:30.00 / VF:60.00 / XF:165.00 US$
