1815 Capped Bust Half, New (BETTER) Pictures

    Check out these pics when compared to the old set I posted. I used a combination of neon & natural lighting on the 2nd set when compared to the first which was simply a 100 wat bulb and lampshade.

    Which looks more like the coin in-hand ? I'm guessing #1.

    Also... I haven't mastered "white balancing". Did you use that on these ?

    Yep, the coin on top is more indicative of what it looks like in hand and IF I had guts, I would crack this one out, LOL :D :D :D cause the slab is older and scuffed up some.

    No, I had the white balance was off, the overcast sky and pale blue tone of the neon gave it this look.

    Two words -- white balance.

    Work on it, you still have issues. Otherwise the photos look nice -- well lit, well exposed and well focused.

    nice example of a great year...under 50,000 struck

    is it the 101 the only overton for the 15/2

    Ben,
    That is quite a nice example of an 1815 you have there. Congrats! I would grade it a solid 30 shot 35 in my opinion. :bow:
