1813 Capped Bust Half

Can you imagine all the history this coin has seen? http://www.brainyhistory.com/years/1813.html If Only, If only pieces like this could talk. This 1813 is a MS-66 example of an O-107a, or shattered die issue. One of the finest examples know to civilized man.

MS66? It looks like F-VF to me

 

I recently obtained a 1813 bust half and sent it to NGC. Got the coin back and was not encapsulated due to improper cleaning. How much would improper cleaning devalue a coin?? I know post a picture but working on that.
