    Good morning.
    In order:
    1) Not an error, it is a variety, and error would be limited to an individual coin.
    2) per trends, (Coin World) and The Red Book: ALL of this mintage were the overdate 1811/09.
    total mintage 65,180.

    3) Current CW values are: VF= $550; XF=$1400; AU= $2000.

I am not sure of the grade, and it does look cleaned.

As Treashunt said all of the 1811 dimes are 11/09. I can't say if this was Unc or not before the heavy harsh cleaning got to it. Looks like it may have been a high grade dug coin that was then harshly cleaned. Now it show possibly some corrosion, stains, and ugly surfaces. Net grade? I'd say VF at best. This coin could possibly be improved by carrying it around in your pocket for a few years until it wore down to the XF 40 level. It would probably get rid of most of the hairlines an give it a better color.

Hairlines? LOL.. Them hairs musta been from a Woolie Mammoth. What a shame on that coin. Conder hit this one, its a pocket piece for a while. Darn shame....

One thing I've noticed with the 1811/09 , many have severe die cracks that look like scratches. It's important not to confuse the two. They are most prevelant on the reverse.
