Just looked at a picture of a dug large bust cent with a 1809 date. Are there known 1809 bust examples? Does not look like the 1800/1799 variety. I can add a link in the AM to the picture. Posting from my cell. Thanks....! Metal detecting find so I doubt a Chinese fake. Pretty green patina showing a long nap in the ground.
I jumped the gun....it was a 1800 coin. Some patina was built up on some crude. Looked like a 9 to me! Sorry...I feel like an ass now!
