Found this nice looking 1808/7. The sellers pictures are kind of dark but it looks pretty nice from what I can see. I got it pretty reasonably! Screenshot_20210522-140137_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20210522-140148_Gallery.jpg

Very nice. I'm looking for one of those, myself. Enjoy.

I've been looking for a straight 1807 and this is the second 1808/7 I've bought in that process lol!

Wow, that's really cool, wish I had one! I had a capped bust half dollar years ago and I sold it, it wasn't an 1808/7 but it was a sale that I regretted. Had to replace it as the sale kept messin' with me. To make it right with myself I had to buy another. :D Nothing special to anyone else but it works for me. thumbsup.gif

Nice! I know what that is like lol, in my searches for a decent 1820 regular date Large cent I've ended up with 2 of the 1820/19 overdates for really good prices each! :)

No indeed, they were just too good to pass up even though I really didn't *need* them ;)

I'm all over the place. There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to my collecting. I can be looking at Bogata stuff on Monday than buy Italian on Thursday. Than who knows. I do have a tendency to hyper focus on some coins....whereas I will look at 200 examples of the same coin over 3 or 4 days than go right back to the 1st 1 I looked at and buy it....and it's usually among the most expensive. It's weird.

But thanks for sharing because I don't feel as bad about it now.

A 1820/19 curl base 2 was the first coin I bought as an adult about 12 years ago. Still have it. It's pretty nice but has a couple small Xs scratched into it. There's not a lot of them out there.

    Here's my 1822. I have 8 CBH...this is probably my favorite. 20210313_133734.jpg 20210313_133734.jpg 20210313_133745.jpg 20210313_133734.jpg 20210313_133745.jpg

Just love how they did the 2s and 5s on these.
