1807 half penny

i have this half penny from 1807. It doesn't look like it's in very good condition, but I'd like to know how much it is worth

It's only going to be a dollar or two but you might as well take it out of that plastic cover.It just a mass of reflections as it is.

Is it really worth a 1 or 2 $? I bought it for like 50$ in 2013

 

So sorry my friend but even if this was in almost good condition it would only be worth $20.00. This looks like a dug coin with all the corrosion.

Looks VF details to me.
Guess I'm a little more optimistic about value than others here, even with the corrosion I'm seeing $40-75.

 

In G-4 it's only worth about $70 and your's is probably half that or less.

 

You called it a 'half penny', not a half cent, so I assumed it was a British coin. Hard to tell what it was from the pictures.

That would be in the junk box in the condition that appeared to be in.

Your US half cent is rarer but in very poor condition, still worth more than a dollar but as others have said, not a lot.

 

It is in better condition than you can tell from my crappy photos sorry but if I try to scan it with printer it comes up as a large black circle here are more pictures
