1806 GB Penny

    I recently bought a 1799 Penny from Great Britain, it grades(U.S. grading) AU-50 RB no gunports. Does anyone know a current price in USD?

    Howdy byrd - Welcome to the Forum !!

    Are you sure about that date ? There were no penny coins issued in 1799. But they did issue them, in 1806. XF value for an 1806 is about $75 in Krause.

    No gunports, Krause says XF is $45.

    1799 halfpennies can sell for around $200 in UNCIRCULATED...the Krause values for GB coins are generally completely off target, so it's better to use a UK catalogue. About $100 ?
