1806 Draped Bust Half...

    Any comments on this F-12ish 1806 Knob 6, Stem Thru Claw Draped Bust Half. It's been a while since I've purchased any coinage :D

    Very nice!! it looks like it is an O-105 (the recut T in LIBERTY and the 6 berries on the olive branch are diagnostic), but it looks like a very early die state since I cannot see the die cracks that run through 180 of the date and LIB of LIBERTY. According to Parsley (author of 4th Ed. of Overton's text) those die cracks exist on all known peices, also the finest known piece is a single AU50 example (as of 2005) so yours is a very nice piece indeed! Thanks for sharing.

    Got it in today and yep, it's an O-105. Check out this recut-T. It's one of the diagnostics associated along with the 6th berry on the reverse.
