Here is an 1806 Bust Half which has attributed as an Overton-105. Check out the recut (T) LIBERTY on the obverse. Would this grade a G-8 or maybe even an F-10? One from my "$100 or Less, Early Half Dollar Collection."

    Thanks for looking

    Bone:
Nice piece, ANA Grading standards would call it at least a VG-8, they do not list a VG-10, It appears to have just missed a F-12.
It seems to need a little more detail in the eagle's wings and the drapery on the bust.
Still a nice piece (I won't comment on the apparent cleaning, these early pieces are hard enough to find as it is, and they are just jealous, since it is in your under $100 column.)
Definately a good buy. Especially with current trends at $250!

It also seems to be the O-105, all diagnostics appear to be there. Nice, by the way it is classified as an R-2 (slightly uncommon).

Oh yeah, it's been cleaned, but when your looking for pieces around $100 an old cleaning or two is acceptable to me :D

Ben, I feel that is a lock 8, and depending on who you ask, or have grade it, I could see it being called a 10, and I don't think I would call either grade wrong.
