Hey, found this S8R metal detecting last year near Charleston SC and finally getting around to reasearching it better. Been told by others in other areas of this forum (errors, WCoins - I'm sure some of you have already viewed it!) that multi strikes were rather common for this type coin but not to this extent. Just curious if anyone out there that is familiar with this coin has an opinion as to it's worth. 3 pics included-Obv, Rev and closeps. You can see the extent of the striking error in the last pis but can also clearly see it on the obv. pic as well. (notice bust) Thanks for any info you can give me as to value and collectability. MM
