Can you provide us with better photos?

NO, its real as hell i have a 1795 PCGS f-15, 1796, And about 6 others I know my **** and its not fake.... when i say steal i mean i got it for a great price not $100 dollars... lol it was expensive and already asked a reputable coin dealer who happends to be NGC certified...

Just tell me the grade it looks at FIRST GLANCE... Its already sent to PCGS so it doesnt matter. just wanted to see who was able to guess it correctly....

    Grade?

Well, since most of the Bust $'s that I have seen were by visiting them in a dealer's showcase, I'd estimate XF.

    I wish it were mine.

What do you mean by the dealer was "NGC certified" ?

I would say the coin has VF details.

I understand Hobo's concerns... not just from the story, but the coin itself. The denticles seem odd... spacing is irregular at times, and there seem to be varying lengths. Something about Liberty seems odd, as do some of the stars.

Good luck ! It will be interesting to see what PCGS says. Stay tuned ! Give us an update. When do you expect them to post grades ?

I think it has been tooled. The variety is B-29,or BB-119 which is an R.4 die state 2. Fine15 details.

BTW - just because a dealer can send coins to NGC or PCGS does in no way make them certified by the service to grade or authenticate any coin.

Can't say for sure it is real, but looks like a B-29. Better pictures might help match it up. I would probably say PCGS would grade VF30.

I thought that also, just don't know these well enough. The good news if it is genuine PCGS will at least put it in a holder now. :)

Anyone saying this coin is counterfiet is edited - treating others with respect is a must here If you knew anything about earlier dollars then you would know that this is a very good example of a

    Yep.

I am unaware of any legit TPG offering a certification process for anyone. NGC submission privileges are free.

You know calling us morons for not being sure about a coin's authenticity is pretty assinine. All we have are some low grade pictures to go on and that does not really help with connecting all the attributes. The chineese fakes are getting really good, so excuse us for being cautious. As it stands there is no reason to get defensive when you ask for opinions. Everyone gives their opinion based off what they see in the pictures provided - if you don't like the opinion, so be it. The question is - will you come back if it is bodybagged as fake or tooled?

And I have only looked at a few, so I will never confess to being an expert. I just like these big old dollars. I still think it is better than VF20 - in my opinion.
