Hey Everyone, Posted this over in the coin chat area but thought id drop it in the US coins too. I picked this one up because of the die crack. It does not appear to be PMD in the hands, the crack is raised. Someone said they have an extremely similar 1798 DB with the same die crack on its way to NGC but doesn't have photos, I am awaiting his results! I am curious because no-one can identify his nor my DB as to what Variety it is. Figured id post here for opinions, and general DB discussion
Great Coin !! The bottom half of the Obverse looks like someone worked it over with a wire brush. Still a cool coin. Over 200 yrs old. Good Luck on that die crack !
