1798 Dollar

I have noticed that a number of 1798 Silver Dollars being sold on ebay have what looks like a radial die gouge above the foot of the L in LIBERTY. Is that a known marker of an authentic coin?

Yes. 1798 BB-109 and BB-110.

The obverse was also used for the more recently discovered and still unique BB-126 but the only known one does not show the crack in L
