    I've noticed that some of the cast coins are selling for up to $25&$30. Maybe you can pick it up for $5...

    And eBay pulls the auction.

    I'm assuming it was a fake 1797 bust dollar that they got stuck with bya scam ebay seller, and they were trying to resell it as what it really was in order to try and recover part of their money right? So scammer misrepresented it and ebay allowed it, then he correctly listed it and they pulled it right?

    Probably because the next guy to buy it would try selling it as a real one. At least this seller was honest.

    That's true. I missed the coin before it was pulled, but the thing to do would be to stamp it as fake, that way the scam would be stopped.
