    Looks like a Cartwheel penny minted by Matthew Boulton at his Soho Mint in Birmingham in 1797+...

    Value in that condition is probably about £5 at most. If it was EF it would be about £300, if it was UNC, over £1,000....

    have to agree you do need to post bigger pics

    i agree with you allso but we have notting to compare it to
    so it could allso be a cartwheel two pence
    but its to worn to be worth any more

    I could be wrong, but the proportions look more like that of a Penny than a Tuppence...

    We'd know for certain if we had the dimensions of the coin as well as a photo....
