Hello, here is the second coin i want to post tonight. This one a 1795 Half Dime. As you can see the eye on the bust is not visible. I cannot determine whether through damage or weak strike. The reverse is more balanced. The coin is also very slightly buckled. So it does have a few minuses. Overall however it is a pleasant coin from the beginnings of the US mint. Please let me have your opinions. Thanks,
    Eduard

I'm certainly no expert, but that wear from the 'y' in liberty through to the cheek looks like damage that was rubbed out. All else looks reasonable....

Another good one. Like the preceding poster, I'm not sure what's going on with the obverse, but I'm not anywhere near familiar enough with the series to know if it is anything other than just weakness in strike or a strike-through. The "buckling" (bending?) would detract from the value significantly...Mike

p.s. regardless, it's still wonderful as far as I'm concerned.

Still a great coin, but, personaly, I think that it is a strike thru.
