This is the other coin I have an opportunity to buy at my lcs. Asking $290. Seems fair. The fugio in my other thread seems to be the coin I’m gonna go for but this sure is tempting.
The trick with Pole to Cap large cents is to find pieces with all of the reverse lettering visible. The relief was low on these coins, and there was no protective rim to protect the lettering. The coin you are considering is okay, but it’s nothing special.
