Hello, here is my Chain Cent 1793. This is another one i had to look for long and hard before i found one which i could afford. I obtained this one from the Bebee collection sale. It was graded Very Good, but with corroded surfaces. Again, i would be interested to know how you would assign a final grade to this coin. The surface imperfections are more visible on the obverse, not so much on the reverse. Only very little there. The lettering is visible on both Obverse and Reverse, but contrary to what the catalogue said, only the 7 and the 9 are quite visible in the date (the 1 and the 3 are very very faint). This is a type coin i really wanted "needed?" to have. Thanks, Eduard
Hi Eduard, What a great coin. I've never owned one, but, of course, I've always wanted one. Enjoy it.......The Bebee's were huge in numasmatucs during their day. Aubrey had a 1913 nicklle as a 'pocket piece'......Can you imagine ? Paul
What I find amazing is that Coin Talk never ceases to suprise me. One day you turn up and a guy from nowhere is showing a half dozen prize 18th Century dollars. What more can you say! Ruben
Net AG? , G , but that pitting makes it worth less than the AG price. Rare enough for me to congratulate you....
