    Hello,
I am looking for some info on this coin. I found this coin along with 321 other coins when I was 7 years old. I was digging next to a tree with my toy cars and found a small heavy wooden box filled with the coins and dirt. My dad help me to get it home and I have had them ever since (20 Years now). What can you tell me about this coin? Any worth or should I continue to keep them as a paper weight?

    Thank you,

    Mike Busutil

It has the appearance of a cast counterfeit Fugio cent.

Probably just a very old cast piece. Were all of the coins the same as the one pictured?

I looked at my coins alittle closer, they are all the same except for two. Two of them have EG FECIT or EG EECIT below mind your businness in the Fugio ring, And these two are also have "Currency" spelled with two R's vs just one.

It's not what is say's it that they are Cast. Not coined that helps make it so easy to tell they are not real.
