This beauty came in the mail today from Canada. I love the amount of detail/luster on this coin. I've had coins from King George III before, but not anywhere near this good condition. American Revolution!!!

Very nice coin, but I think you need to adjust the lighting on your photos. These are copper coins but you wouldn't know from the colour in your pix

Just a little more info for you on your coin. There are three varieties of the 1773 farthing. The first (and rarest) has no stop after REX; the next has no stop on the reverse after BRITANNIA, while the third - and most commonly found - has stops on both sides.
If you were looking for a value I reckon yours would probably be somewhere between £40 and £50.

Thanks for that info. By stop do you mean dot or period? I figured the value was in that range, I’m happy I only paid $10 usd for it.

Sal I am working on trying to improve my coin photos haha. I think I will purchase a mini light ring and make an enclosure around the coin. I watched a video on it and it looks like a good idea.

Matthew, look at your own coin. On the obverse after the letter X there is a stop, or dot, or period, call it what you will.
And on the reverse, after the last A of Britannia, what can you see?
