Check this hunk of silver out, 23mm and 11.4g. It also has all sorts of figures on the (16 sided???) edge like flowers, paw prints, and pellets. It was attributed as an Ahmad Shah Bahadur issue from the middle 18th century 1738-1753. Take Care Ben
These coins are very difficult to study,unless you can read Arabic,that is.My knowledge of Arabic is limited to being able to read the numbers,as you need this knowledge to be able to convert an AH date into an AD date,which is to take off 3% & add 621 to it.The 3% is to take into account that an AH year is only 354 days long instead of 365 or 366 days long in the AD year.
